Louie E. Robinson IV, DC, CES
Dr. Louie E. Robinson IV was born and raised in Houston, TX. He graduated from Clear Lake High School where he played football all 4 years. After high school he attended San Jacinto Community college. He was on the Dean's list every semester and was admitted to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. This is where he got his first introduction to chiropractic, proper weight training, nutrition and overall physical health. In an effort to maintain a good physique he enrolled in a weight lifting class. This class sparked interest in proper resistance training techniques, form and additional benefits. In an effort to meet those of the fairer sex, he decided to take an aerobics class. The instructor of which happened to be married to a chiropractor. She started him on the path to a life of healthy nutrition, exercise and overall well being. Even as a young man Dr. Robinson believed the human body was a powerful machine that did not always need medication to heal itself. What kid wants to take medicine, right? But for him it was much more than that It was an understanding that the body, given the right circumstances, is fully capable of repairing damaged tissue and fighting disease. Chiropractic fit his own personally held beliefs so well he decided to make it his life long passion.
After San Jacinto, he transferred to Texas Chiropractic College where he received the Tri-1 Scholarship awarded to only 1 person in each entering class. He is also a member of the Omega Psi Honor Society for his high scholastic achievement during his time at TCC. Dr. Robinson received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009. Shortly after graduation, he earned his Certified Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Robinson puts a heavy emphasis on correcting muscle function as well as joint function. He achieves this through stretching, physiotherapy, soft tissue therapy, and trigger point therapy. He believes whole heartedly "you are what you eat" and understands that nutrition is a vital component of good health. He is able to provide nutritional consultations tailored to each individual’s dietary or nutritional needs. The Chiropractic approach he uses is “Motion Palpation”. He utilizes the Diversified Technique for his chiropractic adjustments. Other physical modalities he incorporates include instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, physical rehabilitation, muscle stimulation, ultrasound and many others.
